Windows Explorer Error Message

Thread Starter
Recently I have been been recieving this error message while browsing my HDD [attached jpeg].

I have no idea what is causing this, and it is very frustrating, as it closes windows explorer very often.

Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated.

turns out that it wasnt a virus, but a faulty file in my divx decoder.
for anyone having a problem with the file divx.ax

Do this: go to Start > Run and enter: regsvr32 /u shmedia.dll

this solved the problem completly for me
