Computer randomly restarting - Page 2

So I tried what you said and the wierdest thing happened. I have u.l.n.a adaptors on my cpu heatsink so the rpm stay constant at around 800rpm at all time. But as soon as I tried to power up the pc with the gpu unpluged the cpu fans started spinning at full rpm. But as far as I know this should not be possible with the adaptors on the fans.

That is really weird, resistors are normally from the hardware level by reducing the voltage....so you got me there. Everything wired up properly?

Yes sir. The only thing I can think of is the psu doing some wierd things with the voltage. Luckily my brother will bring his pc over this weekend so I will be able to test every component. Will report back once I figure something out.
