trouble with P6098

Thread Starter
My dedi has been having issues with a 6098 and I'm unsure whats causing it, if its an oc issue, or if its a bad wu. It was foliding great until 45%, then it would stop, give a fah core interupted error, then restart and fold a few more frames, then stop, give the core intrupted error, then resume folding. It never drops the unit, just resumes where it left off. Here is the log and thank you for any help.

I would look in the "issues with a specific WU" section of folding forum, and then if you don't see anything post there. I think Stanford themselves would have the best chance of telling you if it's a WU issue or your machine.

Oh course the first thing they will tell you is to drop your OC to stock, and you can't really do that in the TC. Maybe you can try transferring the WU to another rig and see if it does this when running on a stock system.

I've had similar stop and restart issue. I've figured that it was a bit unstable and added more vcore.

Thread Starter
Just on a whim I bumped up vcore slightly and it appears to have fixed the problem. Finished the 6098 without anymore interuptions and is almost finished with another unit with no issues. Thank you for the help. I would have never though it was instability, in the past being unstable would just stop the client and not restart it.

Some units like 764x's , 7080's (~7m tpf's) i've noticed will just interrupt and start over from place it interrupted several times if oc is unstable.
