Important question for me, stupid question for you

i just purchased a RX240 XSPC system, 2 cooler master blademaster fans, a fan controller, and some water dye that ill need to replace (the mayhem aurora with the mayhem pastel concentrated)

http://www.overclock.net/t/1360701/coolant <-- was informed that the aurora is more for demos and not for actually keeping a system up

while im still trying to research if premixed coolant + kill coil > distilled water + kill coil + dead water/ph nuke

i wanted to know if, will my system cool better with LONGER tubes in my loop or SHORTER tubes in my loop

the reason i ask if because i have the option of facing the rad to the end of the case or the front, meaning the front will provide really short tubes as the back will provide lengthy tubes

example : http://www.overclock.net/t/1218332/fixing-my-dull-case-project-thread ---- short
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-nqyR3-MDng --- long

also, are dye's really that bad for the system? if i squeeze literally a few drops to give it color in my clear tubing?

if you do post i will greatly appreciate it

shorter is better for performance as the pump will not have to work as hard to get the water through your loop although the actual difference is not significant at all so do whatever config you like the look of better. as for the dye, i have always used distilled + dead water and have been totally fine but i know many people use dies in their loops and haven't had a problem either. if you do use dye, just make sure you dont use too much as that will cause damage to your pump

http://www.frozencpu.com/products/17703/ex-liq-286/Mayhems_Pastel_Coolant_Concentrate_-_250mL_-_Mint_Green.html

so this "coolant concentrate" would not be a regular fill it up with coolant, would it be something im diluting with the Distilled Water?

Is this as harmful as dye COULD be? or is this completely safe?

To be honest, i have to pay to ship back the aurora mayhem and i already bought clear tubing (i wanted some colored water to see the water pass instead of just colored tubing frown.gif

http://www.overclock.net/t/1286896/mayhems-users-club <--- seems mayhems pastel concentrate causes primochill tubing to go green? frown.gif

http://www.frozencpu.com/products/17336/ex-liq-229/PrimoChill_Intensifier_Concentrated_Opaque_Series_Dye_Bomber_-_15mL_-_Jito_Sicle_DYEBT-JIT.html?tl=g30c103s185 - not in stock is a bummer

someone please help me make my clear tubing + distilled water become green!

ok ill stop rambling -> http://www.frozencpu.com/products/17969/ex-liq-308/PrimoChill_Intensifier_Transparent_Coolant_Dyes_-_15mL_-_UV_Green_IBT-UG.html?tl=g30c103s185

considering just buying that, would it indeed harm my tubing+pump+system?
so afaik mayhem dye will stain my primochill tubes, i assume primochill dye wont stain my primochill tubes

but will kill coil+ dead water + distilled water + dye be safe? i see not alot of people are fans of dye
