I'm getting extremely sick of people like you. Learn to use windows 8 instead of bashing all over it. The only aspect that might not be as good as windows 7 is the metro UI. Literally everything else is better than windows 7.

I still prefer xp over windows 8

I want the highest quality stuff... don't care too much about water cooling... don't feel like putting it all together and i'm pretty sure that air will do just fine (I don't need my components below freezing just because they can be)

Anything I should change?

Don't change a thing apart from the case maybe and if you don't need to optical drives don't buy a second. It's extreme for a reason. I'd personally swap the case if possible for something like a Corsair 900D if you could wait that'd be beautiful with 4 way SLI plus its a far superior case to the 800D now since the 800D is going on 3 or 4 years old ? ....

Do you have more than 1 monitor? if you do, say you have 3 monitors, get 3 7970's since there better at higher resolution for games.

I would recommend dropping down to 2-3 SSD's and getting a 4TB hard drive: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822236353

Again, another person that doesnt do video compilation.

OP.. I would trade those 256GB SSDs for 4 of these

I do video at 1080p at 60fps I dont know about you but I can fill up a TB quick. If you're compiling you'd want at least a 500GB to run as the alternate.
