Best FPS gaming mouse for about $70?

Hello there!
I am going to be buying a new mouse soon to go with my razer blackwidow keyboard amd I was wondering the best FPS gaming mouse out there for about $70.
I had my eye on two.
Razer Taipan/$70
CM storm sentenial II/$60

Both mice look great. But which is better? Or is there other mice I should be considering?

Btw I mostly play bf3 and later this year probably bf4.

Thanks for your help!

I vote for the DeathAdder 2013 (4G).

I use a g600 from logitech probably not that good for fps because of the side buttons but its really comfy and i love it and it has illuminated keys on its side. rat 7/9's look good too

I see the Deathadder has a 4G Optical sensor. How is this different from the Laser Sensor or the dual sensor on the Taipan?
Thanks!!

Although the Razer Taipan appears to be nice, I'll never waste my money on Razer mice again thumbsdownsmileyanim.gif Recently moved from a Razer to a Gigabyte m6980X and I must say it was the best $30 I have ever spent on a mouse & comparing it to the Razer, I've experience no lacking mouse performance while using it for gaming.

So between the your choices, I vote for..... tongue.gif .....I suggest you read these 2 reviews & make your choice wink.gif

I had a razer lachesis with an 4000dpi lazer sensor and when it crapped out I go my self an DeahtAdder 3500dpi with an optical sensor. Boy what a difference the tracking on the death adder was so much better and it had much nicer lift off characteristics too. I don't know about the new DA but the older 3.5G is an excellent mouse (though the shiny plastic isn't very nice).

I personally don't like ambidextrous mice because of the extra buttons (most of the time it can be disabled but it still bugs me). I change mice pretty frequently, for no specific reason. I just picked up a DA2013, not sure the quality in this one as of yet, but I will report back. With most Razer products the drivers are enough to drive a person mad. After playing with the mamba for a short time, I was so turned off of drivers (albeit the wired/wireless switching caused absolute hell won't happen with a DA) that I tried out Zowie's Ec2 evo. I really enjoyed using this mouse. Overall a very positive experience. If you have larger hands opt for the Ec1 evo. They are worth a look.

The DeathAdder 2013 uses the 3988 sensor, and the 3.5G uses the 3888 sensor, so the 2013 is superior because of its I.P.S. and C.P.I.

I too have the Lachesis 3G, but I want a DeathAdder 2013.

IPS and CPI is the same thing, and it has nothing to do with how good a mouse sensor is, all it is, is sensitivity

However, yes the Deathadder 2013 is 'superior" if you dont want the glossy sides, i had one (sending it back, razer quality control sucks ass, also, its too small for me.) and the scroll wheel is improved over the old 3G one aswell.

I am amazed that you start listing sensors and dont know that CPI and DPI is the same thing, and theyre just senisitivty though..

I'd also suggest the Deathadder. The Corsair M60 or M65 is worth a look!
