Scary how this went by undetected by astronomers. I know the big one is supposed to miss Earth today. But it kind of makes you think, what aren't they telling us?

It has begun! I'm glad I am with the other 100,000 pre-selected individuals in the bunker. I'll be sad when the OCN servers are hit.

Meteorites, tanks choppers, fighter jets flying over Russian traffic; Yup, just a normal day in Russia.

Wth. Scary stuff...

EDIT: It says 31-12-2012 on the camera. Although this could just be a faulty setting in the camera itself. But the upload happened yesterday.

Also, the meteorite felt like stopping Harlem Shake.

Wow you're right, I didn't notice the date on that camera. The date is certainly off. Looks like a traffic cam caught it too, right around the 47 second mark. The date is accurate in this one. Look in the lower right corner.

99% of the near earth objects equal to or larger in size than the ~150 foot one that just passed Earth by ~17,000 miles are unknown.

We know almost nothing of smaller objects like the one in the above video, even after they enter the atmosphere. Meteors large enough to make it through the atmosphere are not rare. Meteorites strike earth all the time, nearly two per day, on average. They rarely harm anyone or damage any property and most go unnoticed.

There is nothing particularly scary going on, and no conspiracies; just the inevitable results of living on a planet in a solar system.
