Do you guys know that video was recorded 2012? Pay attention to the video. rolleyes.gif The date is displayed on the recording so how could this be yesterday? I think yesterday is something else? Or what? I know Earth always passes earth and it was yesterday if i am correct. I need to read the whole thread and discussion about it. Just lazy to read it all this weekend. Had a crazy week.

So far i know of is the government now has programs or some kind of technology to detect asteroids earlier and even prevent them if needed.

I am sure NASA engineers will design them a weapon to use in space or something. Lasers. I dunno.

EDIT: Upon research i obtained from http://www.cnn.com/2013/02/15/world/europe/russia-meteor-shower and now i know it did happen. This is a once in a 100 year event. Scary really yes.

An astronomist from the local university said in the news that asteroids of this size hit earth on average one per year. But none of those were in populated areas since tunguska.

I'm wondering how many Russians think it was the start of WWIII before they realize it was just a meteorite.

Oh come on dude don't say that. That is rude. We have nothing against Russia. They are our allies. I am hoping the children and adults who have been injured have speedy recovery for Mother Russia.

I know what you meant though. Sure enough they would had thought maybe an Alien spacecraft was about to crash biggrin.gif
