I'm selling my 360 (it hasn't been plugged in for years), and probably won't get a neXtbox.
What I do want Is Pikmin 3, and Smash Brothers running at high resolution, and oh my goodness PLEASE Nintendo make an HD F-zero!
Part of the problem is that I have thousands of hours worth of games on Steam, I could effectively log into Steam and play amazing games non-stop for months on end. If I'm going to waste my time with a console, I want it to be an experience I cannot get on PC. Most top console games are just flat out obsolete, inferior, I have no reason to play them. At least Nintendo puts some serious effort into trying to be different.
As far as sales go (as previously mentioned), everything sold terribly compared to the Wii, the Wii U is actually selling decently well.
Wii U hardware will push games that make the 360 look like a piece of junk, chances are it will mostly be first party stuff, but the system is very capable.
