G9x discontinued :( - Page 3

I think its going to be a while since there should be a lot of inventory out there along with the refurbs so I wouldnt worry.

My best guess is that they are going to bring an updated ver because there's no point in totally abandoning a proven design. Maybe one with an updated sensor will pop out. I mean, the G9x has been in the market for a pretty long time and should be due for a refresh.

the g700 is no replacement for the g9x. And the G600 is meant for a specific niche of the mmo market.

Logitech better announce something soon, I'm at this dillema where I'm debating if I should jump the gun and get a left over stock G9X or just be patient and wait for G900.
If you like the G9x and that's what you want, then you should probably get a G9x.

Wow, that's kinda sad..

Last month I was in the market for a new mouse that is small enough to fit my hands, in the end I went with the Roccat Savu over the G9x because I heard optical was better but I still feel the G9x is a great mouse for people like me and gamers alike. Although I can't wait too see what Logitech has in stored for a replacement tongue.gif

Saw this on Tom's. If you use TOM5G9X, you get some money off the G9x.

yup takes $5 off..btw I love my G9x too, I've still got my G9 (my son uses it on on his computer)

I've kinda eyed the m60 from Corsair as a replacement (I just went k90 and I really like it, though I wish I could have got it with the black switches instead of read)

in the End I just couldnt leave my G9x...btw whats the problem with the sensor? I've never had an issue...and optical is better than Laser? any chance of a link to a specific article/thread discussing this (not just individual opinions)

I had one not too long ago but it was probably the most uncomfortable mouse I've ever used... I'm sure it's a good device just not for me.

I've had my G9x for almost 5 years now, its pretty funny how long this mouse has lasted.

The back button on my g9x finally gave out today. Good timing considering the price they are selling for now.
