They price matched my phone no questions asked and it wasn't on there approved matching list.

Worry free returns even if you don't have the reciept.

Imo there a step in the right direction!

BestBuy has one of the best return/replacement policies I've ever seen. Back when I got my 5570 from them, I found a problem with it. Went back and was in and out of the store with a new card in 5 mins flat.

The entire process consisted of "got the receipt?" *looks in the box to make sure it's the right GPU* "Alright, go grab another one, i'll sign this" and I grab my new 5570, get my receipt back, and walk out the door. I honestly have no problem shopping there, it's just their limited selection means I don't go there very often.

They keep throwing shoprunner months/years at me, so shipping is free, but otherwise I agree. Depends on what the item is if two days without it is worth noting.

I'm actually happy about this. I'll pay tax on my purchases and support business if they can offer to be competitive. The last time I went to them, they price-matched my 64GB MicroSD card and the Otterbox that I bought from them to Amazon prices. I ended up saving over 50% of what I would normally pay for those two items at Best Buy. Prime is nice, and 2 day shipping is better, but sometimes it's more convenient to buy B&M.

I have nothing against Best Buy... my first GPUs were at BestBuy/CompUSA (back before the internet was big and we were on 14.4kbps dialup) rolleyes.gif

Staples/OfficeMax/OfficeDepot on the other hand... if you don't stack coupons with their sales then the sales are meh mad.gif

Its a good move that leverages their physical presence that Amazon and other e-tailers can't match. I guess its about time they realize that a sale at minimal profits/markup beats no sale at all.

Dont blame Best Buy because you were uninformed about the product you were buying. Best Buy is not an electronics enthusiast store. 90% of their customers are people that dont know much about the tech, they just know that they need a new DVD player because the old one broke.

Dude your so right....i did that 2 years ago with a faulty 5770. I returned it the next day and got a 5570 for some retarded reason [Back then i was a noob]. Then i realized how Nubbish that was and Returned the 5570 2 days later just cause.

THATS 2 RETURNS IN 1 WEEK! Both returns happened just as quickly as you said yours was. Even After both those returns they let me get a radeon 5670. Their Return policy is sooo lenient its ludicrous. Even i was shocked at the lack of hassle. I know people hate on BB but they have one of the best return policies ever when it comes to GPUs. biggrin.gif
