Trying To OC My Dominator Platinum .. a little help be nice guys

Hi guys ..

i'm kind a new in all this so if u can help b much aprt ,

I got an Asus P8H77-V mobo with i5 3470 cpu and new corsair dominator platinum 1600 C9 v1.5

and i can't get them to 2133 or atleast 2000+ or somethin dunno why ,

tryed to rase the voltage to 1.65 and changed timings 11 12 12 31 t2

and still nothing .. any suggestions? or guide maybe? rolleyes.gif

Have you tried giving VTTCPU or VCCSA a little bump?

Lower end Ivy Bridge CPUs might not be as good for overclocking memory as their K-series counterparts. I've had quite a few i3 and i5 chips that failed to even hit DDR3-2133.
Why don't you start with trying to stabilise DDR3-1866 first, finding lowest stable timings and voltage and then moving from there onwards?

Which version (like ver3.11) are your sticks, by the way?

i think your right cause i never tryed this before and saw some one got 1600@2133

so i thought i can 2 ... actually im not at home atm so i cant tell which ver i have ...

i will post asap when i get home.. the question is if i can do somethin with this kind of parts '

because my cpu is not the K ver and the motherboards is H ver so :/
