Hey guys I have both of the cards listed above and am trying to decide which one I should use, now the 630 is a discrete card and the 9600 is a bit bigger and uses more power here are the comparisons.

I would imagine the 9600GT is faster. The 9600GT performs somewhere around the 8800gts 640mb, which I still have a hard time believing a new "low end" card beats. I just googled it and it appears the 9600GT is the faster card. I bet you could sell both for enough to get a GTX 260 (~$50) and actually have a decent gaming card.

On a different list ("Voodoopower" Ratings), it's about a 10% difference in favor of the 9600 GT.

The 512mb vram on the 9600GT will hurt it @ 1080p, but then neither card is really powerful enough for 1080p gaming.

See that's what I though was that the 9600 GT would probably be a better choice than the 630 because of the memory and overall fillrates but when I did a 3D mark test and a open GL cinabench test the 630 got almost 2000 points higher on the 3D mark and the open GL got 31FPS on the 630 and around 21FPS on the 9600, it makes no sense.
