An AM is a good mouse from what I heard/read.

I'm just used to it. I can get a mouse of any DPI as long as I can set it to 2400DPI. I can probably get used to a higher DPI but I don't think I can go lower.

I actually switched from a G9x to an AM and than the FK myself.
For me the grip is different but perfectly doable. Felt kind of tube like in the beginning, and there is less room for the pinkie. I also use a claw grip i guess.
They also worked fine on my 4hd.

At 3200 DPI can always lower mouse sensitivity to adjust for the higher DPI for a custom fit.

Gave the CM Recon a serious look before stumbling into the Roccat Savu.

Thanks for the suggestions. Recon looks interesting.

I understood that much, but where are you used to it? Desktop use? Games (RTS? FPS?). If it's Desktop than you have to get a mouse with >=2400 CPI, but if it's about games than you can always increase the sensitivity in-game, as CPI is just a form of sensitivity.

Well if you put it that way, I guess there's really nothing stopping me from get any DPI mouse and just change sensitivity. I'm use to the sensitivity on the desktop because I haven't changed DPI or the OS sensitivity in years. In games, I'm not as picky. I mess with in-game sensitivity until it "feels right"
