My final Fx 8350 build Advice needed

hello everybody,

I am gonna get this rig build in either last week of feb 2013 or in first week of march 2013. The thing is I wont be making any more expenses on this rig until next 4 years. Is this a wise config for a full future proof gaming rig ? my budget is 1650 usd max thumb.gif

these are my specs btw

cpu fx 8350 vishera

mobo gigabyte 990fx ud3

psu seasonic ss750 js 750 watt psu

gpu asus nvidia gtx 680 dc ii

8 gb ddr3 corsair vengeance 1600 mhz

corsair h100 cooling fans

1 tb seagate barracuda 7200 rpm hdd

more inputs/suggestions are greatly appreciated

thanks guys smile.gif

You'd want a SSD along with the HDD. The PSU is overkill - 550-650W is more than enough.

Oh please. You don't have to have a ssd if you don't mind load times or start ups but I do think you should change to a less powerful but better brand psu cause cheap power supply's fail miserably with power hog cards like that

I have a rosé will currently and that's why I'm telling you to get a main brand cause its terrible corsairs are decent. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817371031. Out of stock on newegg but its really good

Dude, since when is a Rosewill better than a Seasonic?

If it was only the loading/start up times I'd reconsider about buying one. But having OS in one makes everything faster in general VS HDD.

When you're spending a good amount of money on things like a 680, I don't see why you wouldn't get a SSD.

do you think gtx 680 is worth buying ? or I should save some bucks and go with gtx 670 overclock it to get the same or equal performance as of gtx 680 and I invest the surplus in a good mobo like crosshair v formula or gigabyte ud7 990 fx ?

thanks smile.gif

go for the 680, it is better to spend good money on the vga, that board you have is nice and ppl say good things of it, no need to change for a more expensive board, you can always OC the 680 our get an OC version of her and it will have more performance than the 670.
oh and get an SSD, change the PSU for a 600/650w, has some ppl said, no need for the 750w thumb.gif unless you pretend to SLI or something like that
