Yes it is. I went from a 960T (4.2ghz Quad / 4.0ghz Hex) to an i5 3570K and it was the best decision I ever made. I would highly recommend the 3570K over the 960T if you have the proper cooling (good air cooler, or water cooling) and the budget.

I have a gladiator max II atm... which is much better than my old coolermaster 412
so I might try to mod that to the 1155 if that dosnt work I will go back to my 412

soo I will have decent air cooling.
