Wow, beautiful wink.gif

Good that they put the fan in a typical location. This may be slightly louder than a 680 but while my system isn't very loud overall, my 680 is practically quiet, even at 70% fan. That thing looks robust so should be quite quiet as well I hope. <3

If you think people are selling their 690s because Titan is faster, you're still wrong. rolleyes.gif

Agreed - as a 690 owner, 6GB of VRAM (if it's all useable, that is) would be HUGE compared to 2GB of useable VRAM, especially at 2560x1440p, and also when driving multiple monitors. Crysis 3 maxed out at 2560x1440p with the highest of AA settings? Awww, yissss....though to be fair, I can pretty much accomplish that at 4-8xAA now....lol.

If a single Titan can come within 80-85% of a GTX 690's performance, we're talking roughly around a 60-70% performance increase between a GTX 690 and GTX Titans in SLI - that's pretty astronomical, considering what's available at the moment.

I still see GTX 690s selling for pretty much close to launch prices, so i have no problems selling mine to pick up a Titan. Having said that, if the rumored $1K price is true, I really couldn't justify a pair of Titans in SLI...that's another $1K for that 60-70% performance increase (at best), and even THAT is too rich for my blood.

If the Titan launches at $800.00, i'll gladly sell my 690 and pick up a pair...but any higher, and i'll be holding off for a GTX 780s in SLI, or a GTX 790.

To those who asked about 3 monitor setup, it should be capable of doing that since the GTX680 already is.
Regarding power consumption and OC, I highly doubt Nvidia will unlock it since they are trying to lockdown the overclock, as already spotted by another member the controller chip is in a hard to reach place.
The consumption of a single Titan won't be as high as you people think, most 600w PSU's will be able to power it at ease.
For overclocking plus SLI I suspect that a quality 850w unit will fare well.

I will be one of those that shall wait for the 7xx/8k series I suppose, but just for the nostalgia a few years from now I will buy the Titan at 50$..
Just like I did with the 8800 Ultra.

When NVidia releases their next generation 700 line in Q3/Q4 of this year, will the GTX Titan still be far better then anything in the 700 line? (talking single GPU)

The only people who know are not talking. I like everything I've heard about this card except the price. I am willing to buy highest end single gpu up to $400-500, but I am not willing to spend $900 on any gpu.
