Plus I don't see anything on geforce.com yet, so who knows where that came from.

I think I am going to make a website right now and post random things about Titan on it. If I say all the info came from Nvidia than it must be accurate and true.

Well that does look like an Nvidia slide.... Maybe drivers for C3 are not optimized yet considering it comes out tomorrow. tongue.gif

It would be a pretty stupid move on Nvidia'a part to use slides from a non optimized game in their marketing campaign. Its like saying, "Hey we made this new Ferrari model, and here are all the specs. Yeah I know it runs slightly faster than a Ford Focus, but we are still working out the kinks." Also, if Titan was supposed to coincide with C3, something tells me they would have all the information, and a copy of the game, as early as they needed it.

geforce.com just updated their webpage with driver optimizations for Crysis 3, so obviously they are working today and updating the web page.

Well it is Crysis... you know the meme. They might have just included it because now this the best single GPU in the latest game in the most well known "gaming rig" crushing franchise. Dunno, I never put too much stock into marketing slides.

Of course, maybe Titan just doesn't spread its wings until 1440p -- Or maybe the card is just not as good as we all made it out to be... at least in the latter case I'll save a grand or so, lol.

Let's just wait for 3rd party reviews. thumb.gif

To be honest I would not be disappointed one bit. I am itching to order parts for a new rig and this is delaying me. If I find out that this thing performs only slightly better than a 680, I am going on a shopping spree today. If it does then I need to grind out the process of trying to find two of them, which could take a month or two (or it might not happen at all).

lol

still though you gotta remember that if a GTX680 is getting 35fps average then getting another 10fps is no small feat. Not worthy of a $400 premium for sure, but still impressive.

Kinda like how a Buggati Veyron Super Sport needs an extra 200hp to get 10 mph more than the standard bugatti (which has ~1000hp)

Understood and agreed. I come from a racing family and know what it is like to drop ten thousand dollars to gain a tenth of a second. I just dont think Nvidia would use slides to market the game if the drivers were not optimized. If these slides are real, I'd like to think Nvidia would portray it in the best possible way they could. If the drivers were truly that bad, they would just release slides from a different game. My other thought is there are actually only 10,000 being made, and Nvidia is confident they can dupe at least 10,000 people for some fast cash (assuming the card isn't as good as we thought).

That chart if true would put the Titan equal to a Toxic 7970. I'd say its safe to say we can expect more than that.

Nice for people who have more money than sense.

There's plenty sense for buying one of these, 6gigs and a crapload of cores? The things this monster will render drool.gif

Games, games, games, as if that's the only reason to buy one of these.

Can't wait for some compute benches, the hell with gaming performance.
Would be nice if they give us 10bit output too.
