For a system that beasty you want full water-cooling as well, so I went with the LD PC-V7 case.

wouldnt a Nzxt Phantom 820 be a better looking and cheaper case, that is very capable of custom WC

Yes those systems looks good!
I forgot to mention that I have a SSD, so thats not needed : P
But I need a monitor aswell, and I would like it to be 2550x1440.
You think the Titan can play BF3 @ ultra at 2550x1440 with 60+FPS?

Easily, a single 680 can do that with 4x AA.

Not saying CF has an insane amount of issues or anything. Lord knows I've had mine with SLI. I just mean that a single card with almost all of the power of 7970 CF would run much more smoothly and you wouldn't have to worry about any CF compatibility issues.

QFT.
Sometimes I get so tired of my crossfire that I simply say hell with it and turn it off when I'm playing BF3 BL2 Skyrim etc etc etc.
Without trying to offend, this thread smells like a brag thread... I don't see whats so complicated for an experienced user to build his own system rolleyes.gif

I'd say socket 2011 with the six-core K CPU underwater, slap 16gb of fast ram a big ssd and you are good to go.

Same as andym95's for the most part except I added another set of ram, changed out the psu, and put a nice 1440 monitor on it.
it works

Yes I used to turn off CF when playin BF3 cause I was so tired of all the drivers were some worked good and some dident etc.
I asked for opinions. I like to see what other people suggest before I choose what I spend my money on, as I dont really look so much in the PC market.

Seem's like a reasonable..
My CF nightmares on BF3 were that suddenly my performance dropped and nothing would fix it. I really mean nothing, not even reboots. The cards would always stay at 33% usage and the max FPS output I'd get would be 30fps, a very sluggish 30fps.
Changing graphics settings wouldn't fix it either... I got so tired of it happening too often that I simply created my own BF3 profile in which crossfire is off in BF3, I upgraded to crossfire cause of BF3 mad.gif

People are already giving good suggestions so I won't extend my own opinion much further, sorry for going off-topic tho.
Wish you good luck with the build, will turn out a beastly one I'm sure.
