if you really need to spend it, get another 6950
if not, save it and put it in your bankaccount wink.gif

Have you tried every switch type? Oh well, they're not for everyone. I didn't put one in my suggested upgrade path because most people just don't care. Also, the G15 is pretty awesome as it is. If he was on something like an Apple aluminum keyboard, then I would recommend mechanical, probably MX Browns.

I love my keyboard. Ive been bouncing around the idea or a second card for a while but i find no real reason to get a second. Plus the way my board sits in my case idk if i will b able to the power cables dont fit on the bottom side of the mobo cuz the psu blocks the slot

It is undoubtedly a solid case, but if you like the look of it that much the 690 ii would be a respectable upgrade. Cases are largely personal taste, luckily there are many cases out there.

How power hungry are 6950's? I blew up 2 (two) Corsair HX850's running SLi 480's. I would imagine 6950's are somwhere in the ballpark, so I would recommend a larger PSU first. Just my 2 cents.

Also, on the topic of mechanical keyboards, they are very LOUD. They just aren't for everyone. My girlfriend can't sleep at night from me using my Logitech G510/G9x. I can't even imagine a mechanical...

From my research because I ahve been considering going crossfire, the recommendation tends to be at least 750w PSU. They don't/ shouldn't consume as much power as Nvidia cards do

???

What switches are you referring to?? In my experience, reds and blacks are pretty quiet. Blues on the other hand...... I could understand.

Yes. And buy a few cheap upgrades, sell the old items, and you increase the budget for higher-ticket items like GPUs. I would recommend an 850w SeaSonic PSU, Switch 810 case, (really dude it's awesome!) and then sell the old stuff and report back.
