Well, I picked up another case and I have started the process over. I didn't like the process I used to reverse the other case and I had a much better idea. Check the first post for updates! thumb.gif

I'm interested to see how this comes out as well.

I was thinking about reversing one of the Mix 'n Match builds, but couldn't see enough reason to do it, and plenty of reason not to.

One of the best reasons for reverse atx, is to have something nice to look at and show off, when you have a setup where the PC has to be on the left.

The problem with putting phantoms (except the 410) on the left, is that the doors open to the right, and make it unusually cumbersome to have the machines to the left.

The switch, having no door, works equally well on either side, which makes it a good candidate for reversing if you have it to the lleft.

The little 410, is essentially left handed, (like the H2) to start with, in that the door opens to the left, and not past 90 degrees at that, so it's a real pain to have it to your right.

In that regard, the 410 makes the perfect case to reverse, although I don't think I've seen one done.

Anyway, good luck on your do-over.

Thanks for looking in on my little project Darlene. I have a ton of respect for your mod skills and you make a good point about the door.

I reverse my cases because for the most part because my PC sits on the left. It also gives me an excuse to linger in the tool aisle at Home Despot and spend hours of quiet time in the basement. I had considered reworking the hinge for the front panel but in the end it won't bother me much and it would have been a ton of work. I rarely access the front panel and the 630 has all of the USB/ports/switches on the top. I just picked up a few odds and ends to go inside and the case and the case mod is just about done. Let me know what you think. thumb.gif

New pics of the completed build in the next couple of posts.

Something in the last update to this site has pooched my ability to upload photos/edit/etc. I had to post these from my phone. Sorry but there will be no more updates to this.
