Mobo-modding

Hi guys,

About a month ago I build a new system.
3770k
MPowerz77
1866 c9 vengeance ram

Now having it for a month, I'd like to change te color scheme from "nothing" to black 'nd red.
BUT the yellow on the mobo annoys me.
Is there any way to remove this yellow, and if I do so, will it void my waranty?
Again this is about the MSI z77 Mpower motherboard

Thanks in advance!

Pretty obvious tongue.gif

Best bet is to take the heatsinks off the mobo, and use a fine hobbyists paintbrush to paint over the yellow bits.

Even if I just paint-brush it?

Thx for your reply!

If I touch the heatsink it acutally feels pretty cold.. What if I can get red stickers, put them on top of the yellow, and if I ever have to RMA the board I just remove the red stickers?

The yellow really looks to me to just be part of a sticker. Yeah, trim up some red sticker and put it over the yellow.

when I wanted to change the color in my case I used some colored film from a sign store. It leaves no residue behind when you peel it off later. cheap too.
