i plan on running 3X benq XL2420tx, and perhaps even add a fourth monitor later on, using 3d nvidia surround on occasion as well, which setup will give me the best graphic preformance

Titan is expected to be 50 - 55% faster than GTX 680. 2 x Titan will beat GTX 680 Tri SLI and in some cases even GTX 690 x 2 (Quad SLI) because scaling after 2 cards is not so good. also Titan with 384 bit memory bus and massive 288 gb/s bandwidth is a good choice for multi monitor setups.

After seeing the latest benchmarks the gtx titan only beat the 690, when running in 3 way sli, which is a little too much for my budget to spend over $3000 only for your gpu, also the 690 is 2X 680 2gb so would you hit the Vram barrier when running 3 monitors, which leads me back to the 680's, but so far the titan does not look pleasing if you have to buy 3 in order for it to actually compare to the latest GPU's

wait till tomorrow for official reviews. Definitely for triple monitor the Titan SLI is better than GTX 690 SLI. SLI scaling beyond two GPUs is not good. in fact the 4th GPU rarely scales performance. Titan has more VRAM and bandwidth which is very important for multi monitor resolutions.

http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/geforce-gtx-titan-gk110-review,3438-7.html

"Buy a GeForce GTX Titan if you have a trio of 1920x1080/2560x1440/2560x1600 screens and fully intend to use two or three cards in SLI. In the most demanding titles, two GK110s scale much more linearly than four GK104s (dual GeForce GTX 690s)."

Wish I had that kind of money to throw around for my computer LOL. Glad someone does though, should be nice whatever you choose.

I really think that people get the impression from benchmarks that just become increasingly cpu limited. Tri quad sli is a lot of power. I know that tri-fire scales pretty well in general.

Still, I would go with a pair of titans at that point.

2x Titans as they are fastest single-GPU cards. Scaling on SLI is also uaually better at 2-way than 3- or 4-way SLI.

after seeing all of the latest the benchmarks, 2 titans preformed extremly well with a 3 monitor setup, so i will definatley be getting 2x titans when they come out, for sure. jowever i waswondering if i should get the evga sc hydro copper series of the card instead for water cooling becuase i do plan on water cooling my system, but take in mind i am extremley new when it comes to water cooling i water cooled my cpu with my hydro h60 but i plan on doing i custom setup now i want to water cool both my gpus and my cpu together, any thoughts if i should get the evga hydro series cards or should i get the regualr version???

{ill probably start a new thread in water cooling becuase i need alot of help to get me started}
