GTX 660 Freezing

Hey guys,

I bought a EVGA 660 today which is a pretty good upgrade to my old 7770. I loaded up BL2 and set everything to maxed out and started playing. I played for about 30 mins before the game started to freeze. It wouldn't crash, but for 1-2 seconds the image on the screen would freeze and then go back to normal. The longer I played, the more frequent the freezes until it finally crashed the game to the desktop. I checked my temps, and the highest it got was 72' C on the hottest 'core' using HW Monitor.

I then turned the FPS option to 32-62 FPS locked to see how it stood up. An hour later, and no freezes but the hottest temp on HWM was still 72' C.

Is this normal load temps for the 660? I had PHYSX set to High so I know its quite demanding, but thats why I got the 660! I want all that eye candy.

Apparently, it was just an issue with unlimited FPS, but I think the 660 should be able to handle 1600x900 pretty easily.

My system specs are in my sig, Zizou.

I've also noticed, at the very bottom edge of my screen, colors sometimes stick there. Like greens and yellows and whites take a little bit to refresh. If I move the cursor up, towards the sky, it will refresh those bottom pixels. I'm gonna try out a few more games, and maybe it's just a BL2 issue.

Really hoping I don't have a bad card here, any suggestions? I'm using the latest NVIDIA drivers 310.90.

It appears PHYSX is the culprit.. when turned down to medium the effect isn't as bad, and when PHYSX is low, it's not there at all. This really has be bummed out. You can see the last line of pixels is the issue right before the bottom of the bezel.

Considering I got the card for PHYSX, I'm a little dissapointed. Anyone else out there with this issues? I've tried installing beta drivers, reseating the card, downclocking the cpu clock, and overvolting a little. Nothing has seemed to work. Borderlands 1, Team Fortress, Dirt2 and GTA IV all run flawlessly (of course, no physx).

Any help would be appreciated.
