Is there a problem with my 660Ti?

So today I decided to do some cable management to my system. I then, stupidly, forgot to plugin my h100 (yeah I know, I'm dumb lol). I noticed right away so no damage was done. I then took out the CPU, put new thermalpaste on because that thermalpaste got ruined without the cooler. Then the PC would boot, but after about 5 minutes it would freeze and shut off with the 660ti in. I looked at the temps and these were them:

CPU: 33C MAINBOARD: 50C GPU: 30C

I then tried to take out the GPU, and the PC didn't freeze at all using my integrated GPU. I then uninstalled the GPU then reinstalled it and it still freezes. Since It's obviously not a cooling issue, what could it be?

well if you are able to boot, try uninstalling the drivers and remove any registry keys left over from the uninstallation by running revo uninstaller.(remove every user setting)

then reboot, and re-install the drivers.

Okay so it can't be my graphics card because I tried my old 6950 and it still did the same thing. Could it be the motherboard? or maybe the CPU? I really need help :l
