Yeah I was considering getting my friend who lives in the States to mail me some items but then with shipping fees. Though he will be coming home from christmas and he does work for Nvidia...hmm I never thought to ask him if he could hook me up with any deals on a G80..time to ask! haha

Well if you are worries about Shipping and Tax you can get him/Her to buy it for you and ship it over classed as a GIFT...You avoid extra vosts thatway.

LOL

It depends though in which state your friend lives. If in California, Kentucky, or New Jersey, he'll have to pay sales tax for Newegg purchased for example.

Same here... although I'll wait until I really need DX10. But RD600 is on my hot list....

You can still ask him for inside deals

PS: I believe CA tax is like 7.75% or so... I think you probably better off with directcanada.. their prices don't seem too bad.

The problem about DirectCanada is that they are located in Ontario(where I live) so I would get the provincial taxes slapped on. Thats why I was going to use ncix.com to price match DirectCanada. They ship from Alberta or Vancouver forgot but so then I would avoid that extra 7%.

Thanks I hope it works out.

It's killing me waiting to buy parts. I want to see how the RD600 is before I start any buying. I want that third pci slot just in case down the road I get a physics card. But it will probably be a while till all the kinks are worked out in it. Would you recommend the RD600 or should I just get the P5B. I'm not too familiar with DFI.

Well.. I am anxiously waiting for the RD600.. I know I get it the second it hits the stores. DFI has a good reputation on the AMD side of things.

I have this board now since it was relatively inexpensive (compared to the P5W DH Deluxe) and still would let me run Crossfire. It's actually not too bad... Can hit 3.5GHz with my E6600 with it. Major issues are that I can't select the CPU multi, and RAM options could be more detailed. But then again, it's the Infinity series, and not a Lanparty. I expect the RD600 to have any tweak in the BIOS available you can imagine.

I have high hopes...
