Using my normal Gainward GTX 680 4GB SLI.

Nothing has changed for me. Can't touch overvoltage, can't go above 1150, can't go above 133 power target and can't touch temp target.

Must need fully unlocked BIOS and would be no point in increasing and flashing my power target.

If I do recall, somebody pre-ordered a waterblock for Titan, expecting it to have super performance...

Right, we all just imagined the Precision 4.0 sliders/features rolleyes.gif

Isn't discussion/speculation the whole reason forums exist?

You can Vsync to any number, as long as the display can accept that refresh rate. 120Hz monitor at 120Hz will Vsync at 120, 60, 40, 30. Set the display to 80Hz and it will Vsync at 80, 40, 26.67, etc... Presumably the new 80Hz Vsync just alters the refresh rate to 80Hz.

I know monitors can be OCed becuase I have seen it done (YouTube) with some of the 1440p Korean monitors. However, you may be right and this could be a feature that is useless for those of us with 60Hz screens... but if that was the case then I would question Nvidia for spending on developing the tech becuase the 120Hz screen adoption rate is still fairly low.

So, it's turned the functionality of PixelClock into a single slider. Something like this would be necessary for setting v-sync at 80fps on a 60hz display. Of course you could do it yourself, but this feature is built right in, just like the Framerate Limiter feature got built right in.

Uhhhh.... Vsync higher than a display's refresh doesn't even make sense to me...

Downsampling above 330MHz? And for the record I am fully willing to be wrong on the whole Pixel Clock OC thing. I mean technically instead of setting the refresh rate and then the pixel clock adjusting to match, you could adjust the pixel clock and the refresh would adjust to match. The two knobs are inextricably linked when all else remains constant.

Well, what's the point of down-playing everything we're talking about by implying none of it is true?

And we're only talking about monitors because there's a new feature coming with Titan, a new type of v-sync feature specifically affecting monitor's, the refresh rate, and the locked framerate. I don't see how it's not relevant. Sorry for coming off so harsh though smile.gif

I edited the monitor part, because I did learn some useful stuff, but seriously the image is for laughs and the fact we were all hoping for a complete NDA lift today.
