Optimal GPU paired with i3 550

Hey Guys,
I am looking for the best GPU for my "office PC" wink.gif :
- i3 CPU 550 @ 3.20GHz plus Spartan PRO HE924 with 2 x Arctic Cooling Fan F9 PWM
- 4 GB RAM-u 1333MHz
- Gigabyte GA-Q57M-S2H
- Dell 1580x1050
- CORSAIR VS450
I will OC my i3 550 smile.gif. Can anyone recommend a card? What is more crucial smile.gif I would like to play for instant Modern Warfare smile.gif.

With the resolution you stated (I am assuming you mean 1680 x 1050) then I would say a 660 ti / 7870 would be about perfect for the game you stated. Both should run it well at that resolution, and would be perfectly fine for the PSU you have listed.

Do you prefer nVidia or AMD?

Edit: the other option is to buy second hand in the market place. I presume you are talking about the first Modern Warfare that came out a few years ago. You could very well get a 560 ti which would play the game very well. There are some for sale in the marketplace now for $120 shipped and so on.
