Update #5: Time for some drilling!

Decided to take everything out and make the cuts now since I have the garage all to myself today!

Need to trim this bad boy so it'll fit

Oh so you like it rough boxing3.gif

Boom all shaved off

Yay more tape!

Weapon of choice

Inital cuts...decided to use a power drill instead. If only I had a dremel!

Not too shabby

Yay it fits!

That's it for now. I'll put the system back together now and then it's on to leak testing thumbsdownsmileyanim.gif

The new Z87 motherboards from Asus are using a black and gold theme. It'll suit this project very well. thumb.gif

Update #6: Leak testing

So I finally put the system back together (mostly) and now I am leak testing! Don't worry, I had paper towels all over the place; they just weren't there when I took these pictures haha.

So far, so good

Burbajas!

Dear lord...

So close to being done! I'll see you guys when I have the system completely done!

It seems to me like all your pictures have a yellowish tint to them. If that's the case its probably because of the lighting in the room. You should try using your monitor with an all white screen to light it with a nice, even, soft-white light. Then we'll be able to really appreciate the gold parts in your build, as right now its kind of difficult to tell them apart.

Yeah I noticed that too. It's because of the lighting in my room has a yellowish tint. I would've used my monitors (and wanted to), but I was pretty lazy when taking these pictures. I'm not exactly an expert when it comes to photography, but the thread here on photographing your rig helped a bit.

Update #7: Final pics + lighting

Everything's installed!

Side panel on

And here's some shots on the inside with the cold cathode lighting.

Well that's it (for now). I hope you had fun! thumb.gif
