Be wary of 314.07 WHQL... maybe - Page 4

Installed 314 last nite, win7 64 bit, 550ti, no issues.
AND it seems to have fixed the regression they made in 310 that made TF2 flicker *knocks on wood*.

Updated manually and didn't experience any issues.

And every one has a problem with NVIDIA

Buzz buzz buzz 4 years plus and NVIDIA still to this date have done nothing with the issue I have got ?

Yes that is over £4000 worth of spending and that is not just on GPU's, Mobo's n PSU's that has been on Mains Filters and still they do nothing,

These drivers still give me stutter in BF3 low frames. Switched back to 306.97 and its smooth as butter......

I am weary, VERY FREAKING GOSH WEARY. They gave me BSOD's immediately during install, I was again forced to reinstall Windows 8 since I can't get into safe mode to uninstall them! STUPID WIN 8!!!!!!!!! Shift F8 does nothing, there's no way to just boot into a safe mode in Win8 that makes any darn sense.

I HATE WINDOWS 8

I HATE NVIDIA DRIVERS BEYOND 306.97 HATE U DRIVERSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

Agree anything for me after 306.97 sucks balls...

These drivers almost corrupted my hard drive!

I had the driver installed for a few days and I noticed very tiny twitching of text on my monitor. Tonight I was playing Crysis 3 and all of a sudden my monitor blacked out. I could hear audio but I couldn't see anything and the monitor's power light was coming on and off as if the the computer was off.

I restarted my computer and it wouldn't turn on! Turned it back off, waited a few minutes, turned it on again...same thing. Then I let it run for 5-10 minutes to see if it would turn on, then the Windows 7 Recovery program came on and the monitor was twitching like it had Parkinson's disease. It said something like corrupted hard drive or something. So I rebooted the system and ran chkdsk and sfc command and nothing came up.

Then I came upon this thread and other threads about the driver. I reinstalled 306.97 and everything's working again, for now fingers crossed.

What a crummy driveR!!
