do these look legit? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Beyerdynamic-DT-770-PRO-Headband-Headphones-80-Ohm-/121065390501?pt=US_DJ_Monitoring_Headphones&hash=item1c300f41a5

only thing that has me worried is there is no 80 ohms logo on the cans

They don't look like my DT770/80s, but they do look like the cups on the 250 Ohm version:

http://www.amazon.com/Beyerdynamic-770-PRO-250-ohms/dp/B0006NL5SM/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1361312699&sr=8-2&keywords=beyerdynamic

At least, they look like those ones.

Edit

This has me confused...

Comes with non-threaded adapter only, no box.

Beyer (and AKG, Audio-Technica, and probably MANY others) includes a 6.3mm adapter that screws on to the 3.5mm plug.

yea, that confuses me too. i messaged him to ask about the missing logo on the cans.

these here have cought my eye too http://www.amazon.com/Audio-Technica-ATH-M50-Professional-Monitor-Headphones/dp/B000ULAP4U/ref=pd_sim_e_63

I just don't know how good they would be for fps..don't forget i'm not a hardcore fps player. I play mmos mostly while listening to music and watching movies. I don't see them in OCN's Most Recommended Audio Products either

I think I will get Audio Technica ATH-A700X. they're 130 and closed (great for summer when i have my window ac going). are those the right ones? I see them listed in the Recommended Audio Products but without the X on the end of them.

I'm surprised that the M50s aren't on the recommended product list. They seem to be recommended everywhere else. They're good headphones for the price. I was going to get them before I listened to the DT770s and chose them instead.

For the A700s, I thought I read that they were bass light, but I may be confusing them with another pair.

ones that are bass light are the ah700's, a700's are closed and suppose to have more bass.
