That or a wired 360 controller is your easiest/best option. The wireless 360 controllers need a bluetooth receiver on the PC end to work, even with the charging cable. The charging cable doesn't actually transmit any data other than "there is something connected."

You can buy the Wireless XBox 360 Controller for Windows, and it comes with a usb receiver. You can pick em u off ebay for around $15 aswell.
Ah alright, didn't know that. Is it a Microsoft one? Seems very cheap if it is. I was talking about the actual console remotes, of course, and never bothered to check if they made any for PC. Makes sense that MS would make them, though.

When you buy this one it comes with a console remote + a usb receiver (to make it work on PC) and costs around $70+ in stores last time i checked, it's all genuine Microsoft too.

Aftermarket USB receivers can be bought off ebay for around $15, only buy it if you already own a wireless XBox 360 Remote.
If you own a wired 360 remote then you can plug it in to your pc and it's good to go automatically. thumb.gif
