ASUS P8Z77 V PRO BOOT PRIORITY PROBLEM BIOS 1805

Hey guys, - maybe tis should have been posted in the ssd forum, as it concerns 2Xssd's so im sorry in advance.

I am going to be reinstalling windows 7yet again.
Prior to this current windows install, sometimes my pc would boot to windows straight away and others it would go to the post screen. even though bios settings were defaulted

when doing the windows updates after os install, it would boot to windows and at times it would only go to post(hit del or F2 to enter bios screen)

in the first pic it is my bios main boot screen and you can see boot priority is my M4 CT064 (the highlighted one is only highlighted because i scrolled all the way to the bottom)

2nd pic is when i go to boot options and boot

3rd pic is when i hit the F8 and i have to select P1 for it to boot into windows(i can select P2 also to boot into windows) - windows is installed on my M4 CT064

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks folks.

Paul

EDIT both ssd's are 040H

Do you have the latest bios? Have you done a CMOS reset?

I have a P8z77-v and had trouble with the bios settings saving after making changes. After hitting f8 and going back into the bios are you settings being saved?
