Why the hell would you bench with a 750 tho? A stock clocked 750?

Just a little something for you guys who say Titan is way overpriced to think about:

Check out the new Valley 1.0 bench thread and you will see that the top single card at the moment is a 7970 at about 60fps. Now assuming Titan is indeed 40% faster at stock that means a stock Titan will run Valley at 84fps. Assuming a 90% scaling rate for SLI that means two Titans will hit nearly 160fps. If you check the current number 1 score overall you will see that it is four 7970's with an average of 150fps. So that means that two Titans will get nearly 10fps more in Valley 1.0 than four 7970's (highly OC'd 7970's I might add) and they will do it at stock! If you still have trouble understanding why this card is worth $1k I don't know what to tell you.

I think its safe for me to bet 50 USD that it will be 40% better.

Few things that rings the alarm bell:

575MHz for the GPU? Around 840 is the base clock for Titan, and it can turbo boost over 1GHz.

The memory is running at half speed

i5 with a Titan? Really? Surely that must be too weak to keep up?

GTX 680: http://www.3dmark.com/3dm11/5175405 3000 gpu score

both look to be stock as the memory remains the same. Its safe to say that SLi Titans should about Equal Tri SLi GTX 680's which run about 1350. So still nothing to gawk over but it will be nice.

Like people have been saying this will be a niche product. But i happen to be in that niche since i can only fit one card in an ITX case.

Um....

Ok, so......I don't even know where to start with this.

First, both of those are using bastardized setups, and for what reason? Second, the first link is a 750 running 1.6Ghz slower than the 750 in the second link. Not to mention the Titan is some 300+Mhz below factory clocks....where as the 680 is closer to factory clocks.

Nothing in these links is valid, especially in comparison. I guess one could argue that even with such a handicapp on the overall rig, the Titan is still showing to be a beast.

Are we assuming the Titan is 40% faster than overclocked 7970's?

GTX 680 idles at 324MHz, Titan idles at 575MHz, with 70% more cores?
