Well, it wouldn't be the first time someone with a brand new account posted fake crap in a Titan thread.
Well, the other sites that have them were saying ~85% at stock....
Well, it is way too late for me, I am off to bed. It doesn't look like Amazon or Newegg have any up for grabs right now...not early midnight launch it seems.
85% of a 690 is about where the card should be considering it's a single GPU of the same price. You should get a very good overclock out of a Titan, 1.1GHz guaranteed to 1.2GHz if you are comfortable running it at high 80s according to one preview. This is on stock cooling too, if you hook it up to aftermarket cooling you can probably get 1.3GHz unless the board can't handle it.
All in all, I think a overclocked Titan will match a stock 690, and aftermarket cooling I think it will beat it.. and the fact it's a single GPU makes it more appealing to me if that's the case. You could always add a 2nd Titan later, and get nearly 100% scaling... whereas on the 690, quad SLI doesn't scale very good. I think 2x Titans will beat 2x 690s because of this.Edited by Murlocke - 2/21/13 at 12:38am
