Take a look at my CPU-Z please

Hey guys, for some reason I am stuck at an overclock of 3.7GHz. I am stable on prime95 but as soon as I up anything in the slightest I get a BSOD either immediately or in about 5minutes, I was wondering what your suggestions are for me to get more out of this OC as you guys are much more experienced.

Thanks in Advance!

Loosen your tRas ram timing to 25

Also, you are at very high volts for a 955 C3 stepping to only hit 3.7. I could hit 3.7 at stock volts (1.325). Lower ram speed to 1333 as IMC on phenom ii has issues with 1600 unless NB slightly overvolted.

Try to run her at 3.6 at 1.325 V, changing ram timings and decreasing speed of ram.

What VCORE for more than 3,7Ghz ?

My old AMD PHENOM 955/965/975 could run at 3,9-4,2Ghz core / 2650 north with 1,475V core voltage and 1,25v cpu/noth voltage with Cool and quiet enable !

You need to work your way up incrementally at given voltage until it fails prime, then bump voltage.

I suggested a relatively low clock so you have a solid base to work up from. You can most likely hit 3.8 at 1.35 V. Just work up slowly, or start at 1.35 V and see what clocks are stable there. C3 stepping are better OCers than C2, at lower Voltages also.

1.475 V is too much V in my opinion. Unless watercooled.

I was able to get 3.8Ghz on my 1090T with stock volts. You should be able to get 3.8Ghz with 1.35-1.38volts. At your current volts you should be at 4ghz and stay under 1.45v.

1090t is THUBAN CORE

955 is DENEB CORE ...
Is different

It shouldn't matter that much. They can both be oc'd to 4ghz with similar voltage relatively speaking.

You seem to be running 3 sticks of ram. That could hold you back as well. Try upping the cpu/n/b voltage as well and overclock that to around 2400mhz.

Alright well I respect the input so far, you are saying go back to stock voltage and work up from there? What do you mean by work up...just increase my multiplier by .5 each time ? Also, what do you mean lower RAM to 1333 because "IMC on phenom ii has issues.." I don't know what IMC is

Okay so if I can get stable at about 3.6 - 3.7 at 1.325 what do I do after I fail a blend test?

So I had a 1090T and a 965. 1090T @ 4.0ghz with 1.4v and 965 @ 3.9ghz with 1.5v, so how is it similar voltage?
