im on windows 7. its a 240 radiator and i only have 1 fan header on the board, and i have 2 fans. with no fan splitter.

You should have at least 2 headers.

CPU header can be used for your case fan, I find little reason to report the pump speed to the motherboard, at least for the time being to test if it's just the fans being slow.

And at least 1-2 system fan headers.

Another reason you were asked to fill out your rig here, so we know what parts you have and what could be possible.

so, there is 2X4 pin fan headers for the CPU. My appologies. I will try putting the fans on those headers tomorrow. Currently out of Arctic Silver 5. Cannot reapply. Many people are having issues with the h100i not being recognized. I guess i just have to wait until corsair fixes there stuff.

like said before the only way to fix the problem is to re install it might take 3-4 times before it works.
you can find the installation of the program on corsairs webpage

i have uninstalled and reinstalled the corsair link software (both 2.2.0 and 2.1.1) 4-6 times. It just doesnt want to cooperate.

You don't need a four pin header to operate a PWM fan. Most three pin headers will allow the four pin fan lead to be hooked up. If you have the right software, and your MB supports, fan speed of the PWM fans can still be adjusted using Fan Speed or something like that.

Take the time to add your rig, either in a signature block or in the rig builder like folks asked. May not be totally necessary this time, however, it shows you are willing to take the time to provide the info asked so people will bother taking the time to help you.

Two way street.

I have my fans ramped up to max. The arctic silver 5 is applied correctly. the h100i is mounted properly. and yet this happens.

EDIT: going to continue working on the voltages.

I think that might be the temperatures it gives you, that's a fair amount of voltage you're feeding the chip for the OC.

I have custom cooling on my 3770K with 1.32V or so, and I get into the 80s running Prime. IHS mounting on Ivy Bridge seems to be piss poor.

It is in fact horrid. But the OC doesnt want to run on anything less.
