sync folders on shutdown

Thread Starter
is there any way in windows to make it so when you shut down your computer it automatically syncs two folders so they allways have the same data in them? like if you have two windows installations you can make it so right before windows shuts down it copies all the data from one folder to another automatically writing over the older versions of the files, so when you boot the other OS the files are allready there. they do that at my school with the my documents folder except it syncs with the server so if we save to my documents instead of the server we will still have it on our server. i want to do something like that between windows XP on one drive and Windows vista on another so no matter which one you use when you save it it's allways there when you boot up. i was also thinking about diong this with the PFC files for AOL so when my mom saves something on vista she can find it on XP. any help would definatly earn a Rep +.

I don't know any solutions to this, but you could just use the same hard drive to store data of both OS...
