No display after installing new gigabyte 7970.

Thread Starter
Hello, I recently ordered a Gigabyte 7970 from newegg. I uninstalled my old drivers (crossfire 6850s), took out the 6850s, and inserted the 7970. However, when I boot up I do not get a signal on my monitor. The fans are spinning on the card and everything ( 6 and 8 pin connectors, firm in pci-e slot, HDMI cable, power cable, etc) is hooked up firmly. Still no signal. When I put in my 6850 (only been putting in 1 to test), the computer boots right up as usual. Below is my current setup.

i5 2500k @ 4.2ghz
MSI p67agd53
crossfire 6850s
16gb gskill 1333mhz DDR3 RAM
ultra x4 750w PSU
crucial m4 128gb SSD (OS + select games)
500gb WD caviar black (anything else)

Any help would be appreciated.

Note: I have tried resetting CMOS but that did no good. I have also tried using different power connectors to the GPU (modular PSU) and nothing seems to work.

HELP ME!

Does the computer make the BIOS post beep, make any sounds at all, or at least show hard drive activity (not just a solid permanent light) and load windows, but no display? Or is the system totally frozen (keyboard lights dont work, cant toggle numlock/ctrl/etc?

I would try a different form of I/O (DVI, for example).

I cant get even a post. I have 2 monitors hooked up, DVI and HDMI, neither get a signal. Could it be a bios update even if my computer was working fine before getting the new 7970?
