Running Skyrim Portable?

Hey guys.

I'm experimenting with running Skyrim without an install. I copied the entire directory onto the target pc, and the launcher doesn't work (it just shows an option to install) but the game launcher itself does. The game even saves. The problem is, it's resolution is the lowest that it can go, and I have no way to change this (because apparently the .ini file doesn't seem to exist). Has anyone had any experience with this kind of thing and knows a solution to this.

If you can help, you will most surely receive REP.

Thanks

Surely you can change the resolution in game? I'm not sure though I haven't played Skyrim in a while. redface.gif

Nope, you have to change it in the launcher or the .ini as far as I know.

the .ini might be hidden? turn on hidden files.
