atm I'm not looking to spend alot - the cheaper the better but I dont want a pos again.
I have a acer 4810tz that I got for pretty cheap (my wife mainly uses) but it runs dog slow and its a tad too big for taking too and fro to work (carry on a train journey etc).
I prefer to get one in the UK but can purchase in the states in a 4-6 months if need be.
Read some reviews on the asus zenbook prime ux31a or 32 etc
seemed pretty close to what I'm looking for.
a few things thou:
#1 I have a crucial m4 256 gig SSD that I was curious if I could use in the laptop
#2 I'd prefer to have a ethernet port and some decent memory 4 or more
#3 lightweight and thin a pretty important; just dont know if I want to spend 1000+ for it like some of these new ultrabooks seem to be running.
#4 I may do some light gaming on it but nothing fancy; ill save my fancy gaming for my home pc.
#5 also like some decent battery life when I visit home (UK to US).
#6 could do with something subpar atm and later get something better
#7 14" could be too big I think 13.3 would work better not looking to go too small movies, websurfing in comfort.
#8 latop will have 2 main users; wife whom like to surf shopping sites and websurfing and myself whom will take to work and use in the downtime (long train journey and lots of downtime at work).
#9 again the cheaper the better atm ... unless it might be worth it in the long run
any suggestions?
