I just bought the wireless modem on ebay,- N600 RT-N56U, so here's the thing, everything was set up and works out fine. However, I have 2 desktop, one is directly connect to the wireless modem and get the max download speed out of it. the 2nd one, is in another room, is connected via or by Netgear powerline and only get more than half as much as the maximum download speed. But previously, I own a netgear modem and it gave both computer a maximum download speed. It just it's too old so i had to buy a new one which is Asus RT-N56U now. I Chat with Asus customer support and he just says that the problem is because the powerline and the modem wireless is different brand and they act differently?? SO I am really confused now. Would there be a way to fix it or I really have to buy either asus powerline nor sell the asus modem.
PLease help me.
