LED backlight AND LED panel differences ?

two monitors VX238T and VS238H the vx have LED backlight and the VS have LED panel what is the differences ? and who is better ?

LED backlight doesn't mean anything. That's an LCD monitor with LEDs behind to shine through.

The LED panel is an actual array of LEDs that emit their own light. LED panels have way better characteristics than LCD, so go with the VS for sure.

both monitors are white led back lit. those monitors with the RGB Led are very rare and very expensive like $3000 and very bulky too.

You won't find an LED panel of significant size for under $1K though. OLED and AMOLED are cutting edge.
