Who deleted my post...why? without explanation. glad someone quoted it.
Thanks.let me know next time....anyways...
You must really blind to think that!
The game has no spectator mode making it unsuitable for competitive play
The netcode has been designed to operate around the lowest common denominator (suited for people with high ping rather than low ping)
Why do games have to be cinematic? They are games, not movies.
Vehicles handle like bricks or have funky controls (especially aircraft)
No in game VOIP
No in game admin tools/control panel.. not even console commands
Massive sun flares that blind one team for no particular reason
Colour filters that quite literally stop you from seeing the enemies
While half the game is good, it's got all this useless BS attached and so many things missing.
Bf3 is like running through a live action movie,..who doesn't like that? non stop action...
Spectator mode? who cares?
netcode is client side. What you aim at is what you hit. I would say that's a good deal.
No ingame VOIP? on public servers it would become a crapstorm of young people screaming into the mic. You have teamspeak for organized voip.
No admin tools? what? you can set the settings for your server on the web page. Is that not enough?
Flares add new tatics and depth to the game, otherwise what is the point of flashlights, there are no dark spots?
Color filters? okay I guess the color gradient and contrast saturation of bf3 is a little odd but not to much of a big deal.Edited by SIDWULF - 2/20/13 at 1:43pm
