Why do games have to be cinematic? They are games, not movies.
Vehicles handle like bricks or have funky controls (especially aircraft)
No in game VOIP
No in game admin tools/control panel.. not even console commands
Massive sun flares that blind one team for no particular reason
Colour filters that quite literally stop you from seeing the enemies
While half the game is good, it's got all this useless BS attached and so many things missing.
Sounds like you are making a case for Battlefield4..
Because DICE always wanted to go big with this new engine, but couldn't. Simply due to meeting minumum hardware requirments. Now, with everyone squarly on 64bit os and dx11... DICE can go big. The've already hinted at the fact, that BF4 will have BattleRecorder & "feel" more like BF2/Vietnam for squadplay.
With BF4, we can see many different forms of physics coming together, with multi-core & cheap graphics power so DICE doesn't have to worry, (allocate resources) to building a game, but refineing and solidifying a new backbone. I think BF4 will bring back BF2 flying mechanics and allow for community maps via an editor.
Also, with a battlerecorder... BF4 might become the main FPS tourney arena. ..especially if the Xbox720 hooks-in.
