Nope, that's what Metro 64 has always been.

Metro is by far the worst map in the game, I guess people didn't get enough Metro action in both the Alpha and Beta.

So one map reflects the whole game? Lets see anyone do that in any other maps in bf3, this is no different than the people nade spamming in karkand, your just a troll who views the old bf game with rose tinted glasses.

Regardless BF is about teamwork, that's all the franchise is based on. Sandbox war, teamwork. BF3 had none of those things and Metro is an insult to the franchise.

The only ship in bf2 was the stationary aircraft carrier and guess what bf3 has that as well. I am talking about pilotable ships with several spots for players to man turrets and aa guns, submarines that could submerge and fire torpedos. I remember you could have naval battles on maps such as midway cause each team had 2 destroyers, a sub, a aircraft carrier and a battleship.

Bf3 has no teamwork? I would like to see you and some unorganized mob go up against people using teamwork in bf3, you would probably get slaughtered. I guess stuff like the soflam, javelin, tanks, attack helos and squads do not require teamwork? I am convinced anyone saying this doesnt know how to play and just plays metro, where you don't need teamwork.

Cinematics stay in movies. Games do not need them
WTH are you on about people are wandering around more than ever with no teamwork or communication
Need constant gratifications to keep you interested?
BF3 is inferior to BF2 in nearly every way.

We need a BF2 with better Graphics and BFBC2 team chat system.

Graphics are probably better than any mp game on this scale.

Play armored kill and come back to me

I enjoy my gameplay experience to be cinematic, the effects and sound in bf3 helps immerse you into the game. If a cinematic feel does not belong in games why don't you tell that to the people who made the acclaimed uncharted series

Play a real bf map on a server's ts and come back to me instead of being a loner

I have already unlocked every weapon in bf3 and reached colonel and guess what im still playing the game, so no I do not need constant gratification

Bf3 has way better gunplay than bf2 which more like grenade play lol, the gunplay only got good at 2142. When I first played bf2 I thought other than the squads and half implemented commander bf1942/Vietnam was far better; I would trade the commander for ship battles and airlifting vehicles any day.

I can understand why some people might dislike bf3, but these are pisspoor reasons and borderline trolling. I am convinced half of these liars have not played bf3 yet alone a bf game with the amount of crap their spewing.

All the stuff you mentioned only was added in bf2, guess what bf2 does not reflect bf as a series and was not the first bf game. You clearly do not know what a bf game is about and just want everything to be like bf2.

I'll hold my judgement on Battlefield 4 until we see content, but I wouldn't get my hopes up for anything similar to the originals if I were you.

I laugh at anyone you trick into buying arma3 who think the gameplay will be even an iota similiar to the bf franchise, I hope they are prepared for literally 2 hrs of walking only to be killed by anything and everything many things out of your control. americas army gunplay, hey I want to fly that plane, oh wait this server won't let me fly one. At least recommend something like Planetside 2 which is much more similiar but still not, but I guess your desperate to sell arma 3 to anyone who thinks its anyway like bf. In fact if you play Arma like you would any Battlefield game or visa versa you are doing it wrong.

It's really not so bad. I was on the "I HATE EVERYTHING ABOUT ORIGIN!!!!!!1!!!!!!!eleven!!!!" train for a long time, but I couldn't pass up a deal for the complete Kingdoms of Amalur.

I don't even realize that I'm using it 99% of the time any more.

Spectator mode? who cares?
netcode is client side. What you aim at is what you hit. I would say that's a good deal.
No ingame VOIP? on public servers it would become a crapstorm of young people screaming into the mic. You have teamspeak for organized voip.
No admin tools? what? you can set the settings for your server on the web page. Is that not enough?
Flares add new tatics and depth to the game, otherwise what is the point of flashlights, there are no dark spots?
Color filters? okay I guess the color gradient and contrast saturation of bf3 is a little odd but not to much of a big deal.

Um, except that this is a bloody game and not a movie. Different ways of enjoying stuff doesn't work well, I never got the whole "ERR MEH GERD CINEMATIC GERMIN'" thing though.
You do realize Spectator Mode is a great way to reserve a spot on the server you're on without wasting a spot on a team sitting there AFK in a base? If I want to take a crap, I want to take a crap.
NetCode being client side doesn't mean it's good or bad, I've had games where I've shoved an entire clip into a guy on my screen and only 2-3 bullets hit. Admittedly I haven't played recently, but it is by no means anywhere near perfect..TF2 is still a hell of a lot funner for me.
That may be true, but there's quite a number of times when it'd be useful to tell your team to all go for a certain flag, or if a certain player is hacking. (To stay away from them, etc)
Yes, because admins never, ever have to do stuff in game...And opening a browser is totally fun to do while you're playing a game.

The game has done something that never happened to me in BF2, I got bored of the game and stopped playing less than 2 months after launch...And that was playing with friends who are all pretty good at FPS' in general, have their own TS server, etc which usually extends gameplay quite a bit for me. It's like Crysis, I can't really pin it down to something...but it gets boring as heck fast.
Is it a bad game? No. Is it an amazing game? No. You claiming it is nearly perfect is a massive over-exaggeration of its good points, that's why he took offence with what you said.

I don't know what Xbox Live you're going on, but I don't notice the same in that or in TF2 for that matter...Sure, you don't generally get conversations going for an entire round but you certainly do get people telling others that they saw a Spryo, Spy Demoman, Sentry, etc via VoIP quite often in pub servers around here. Can't speak for many other FPS' though, I don't like CS that much (The community mainly) and I've made my feelings on BF clear.

Not by much, to be honest, it's much more similar to CoD than BF2 is to CoD, but then I guess series' evolve.

Traditionally, gameplay doesn't change much from one map to another however you can see Metro is EA trying to get some of the CoD dollar.

I don't really see how.. Having some close quarters maps doesn't mean it's equal to CoD. Call of Duty is a twitch game.. Battlefield 3 is not. There may be people trying to play that way, but that's because a bunch of CoD players looking for something different bought the game and well, if there was a team of CoD players playing the game like it is CoD versus a team playing with their squads and communicating via teamspeak, the team communicating would absolutely dominate the CoD players. Teamplay makes a difference, but it actually takes the community itself to play as a team. You could hop into a BF2 server full of randoms and have the same experience of people refusing to work together, to use commander correctly, or to use VOIP at all.

It does change quite a bit from map to map. One big thing about BF3 is that it has a lot of variety. You can go play a fast paced close quarters match or play a slower paced conquest on a large map. Their map design only improved as time went on, as well. Even their Close Quarters DLC maps got away from the kill-funnel corridor shooters. So no, that map is definitely not representative of the game and what it has to offer.

I won't deny that they went after the CoD community, but they did so by offering better variety and an overall better experience, not by emulating the CoD experience (see Crysis 2 MP and Homefront for that). They saw a chance to build up a larger fan-base by going after a massive community begging for change.
