Previous "leaked" specs for the PS4 has been fairly accurate, aside from the fact that Sony has increased the RAM to 8GB from the initial 4GB speculation.

However, what wasn't confirmed is if the RAM is DDR3 or GDDR5. The previous "leaked" specs says 4GB of GDDR5 RAM, unfied across the entire system.
The 8GB of RAM on the PS4 is unfied so that is accurate, correct.

But if it really does turn out to be GDDR5, that's... insane. Nvidia's Titan is only at 6GB... lol.

pretty sure they would not aim that high for specs. maybe 8GB or DDR3 or even DDR4 RAM and most likely 2GB of GDDR5 RAM

uh..... i can honeslty say.. i am NOT getting a ps4.... for this reason

couple questions:

1. Did they show an Actual Console?
2. Was the press conference just peeps talking with pre-rendered scenes playing in background?
3. Any PROOF given if game demo's were "real-time"

In the end id rather a PC. Consoles drag gaming down.
