With a system like that, pretty much the best graphics card that you can afford. And if your playing at resolutions > 1080p, then you might want to consider a SLI/Crossfire setup.

Get a Diamond 7970 and overclock it to the moon, if you want 16 AA , get 2 of them.

One card will not get you to all the highest settings in newer games, unless you get a 690 or the new titan and thats over twice your budget. A 670 though will do really well and get you pretty high settings but you might have to turn down AA on some of the more intestive games. I used a single 670 for a few days before i bought my second one and it did really well on a single screen and fits your budget perfect.

Won't happen. Crysis 3 seems to be living up to the reputation of the original, and smearing SLI 680 setups. More games will follow suit very shortly. It's still hard to max out Witcher 2.

Maybe if you triple your budget. biggrin.gif But until then, catch a used 680 or your 7970 of choice, so long as it isn't voltage locked.
