Dvd drives called cd drive in 'my computer'

Here is a picture so you can see how it is acting.

Picture:

I have to double click into the disc root and manually click the .exe's to install games/software which is very annoying.
It use to work fine then all of a sudden it says CD drives when I clearly have x2 sata dvd burners.

I have already tried to troubleshoot by doing the following:

-Uninstall both DVD Drives from device manager / Scan for new H/W Changes / Reboot
-Used the Microsoft Fix It application

My Specs:

CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 @ 2.40GHz
Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 Ti
Memory: G.Skill F2-8500CL5-2GBPK 2GBx4 8GB
Motherboard: GIGABYTE GA-EP45-UD3P rev. 1.6
DVD Drives: ASUS DRW-24B1ST / Lite-On iHAS124-04
Windows 7 Ultimate x64

Any help will be very thankful.

I had this happen on a customer's machine once when installing new drive, like your it could still see the the disc and the files on it if you when to root. However in my case it went away after reboot. I just assumed it was driver issues or all the crapware they had. it maybe a driver issue if restarting doesn't work i'd try going into device manager and uninstalling it then right clicking and "detect hardware changes" or reboot.

this is normal, i don't think you don't have a problem.
if they're burners can you burn dvds with them? can you read dvds?

autoplay of discs and removable media has nothing to do with the type of drive, this is handled by windows.

Yes, everything works and plays fine, it's just that it's VERY annoying to me and am trying to find a fix.
If you look in my OP, i already said I have tried the m$ fix application which does not work. I am just
mad i can't find a solution to this lol. (other then a clean wipe but i'm not that obsessed with it... yet.
