thats all I have to say. There is a difference between in engine render and actual gameplay. There is way too much detail in this trailer. I do hope its real cause that would mean, Devs really have found a way to ensure high memory means better details without being limited by Core performance

That link is for Killzone 2 E3 2005 trailer

Not surprised to find people in here being ignorant to what they're seeing. We're all so used to saying "yeah, no", but now we're seeing in-game footage (yes, it is in-game footage since you can see anti-aliasing) run off the new specs. Get used to it.

in engine doesn't in any way mean in game or rendered by the PS4 hardware in real time.

Another problem with videos is that you're looking at it through a low quality filter, once you get to view the original content on a high fidelity screen things tend to look a lot more like ordinary games.
They're also going to cherry pick what they show you, they're not going to go and stare at a texture seam or some character models clipping. Even if everything we see here ends up in the final game that doesn't mean everything else is going to be flawless.

And did they say anything about real time...

My point is that tech demos are nice and all but the only real gameplay stuff we saw on PS4 was killzone and if the capcom demo was actually representative of gameplay then killzone, which is a series known for good visuals will look like crap.

In the end the demo doesn't matter any more than the new dawn from NV, it's nice but not representative.

It would great for all of us, when one game sets a benchmark others follow! I just wish game developers use actual game footage instead pulling the wool over our eyes!

I myself have enough sense to wait for actual public reviews before i purchase. Tell a lie! Far cry 3 is the only game i have ever preordered and lucky to like it.

But I can see the kids getting sucked in by all the hype developers throw at us, all the time.

It certainly was cherry picked. It probably was rendered on the PS4, then the output was "touched up" a bit (like the slow motion moments) to give it more pop.

Anyway, with the 8GB of GDDR5, textures like those are possible. And with the CPU, you can use the compute to code in those physics. So even if it is cleaned up, those graphics are possible, as the devs become more familiar with the system and code it to the wire.

they where showing off their Panta Rhei Engine that could "run" on the playstation 4. non the less the most impressive part was the simulation of physics that cast cast its own light source. the deepth of feild and motion blur make the game look and feel like CGI. forget about the PS4 hardware this is about the Panta Rhei Engine and all it code put into it.
here is the demostration demo

Don't be little sheeps, remember the recent example of Aliens :Colonial Marines, the diference between the E3 demo they showed and sold as beeing ingame and what we did get in the end,not to mention all the previous fiascos regarding "ingame" videos...
I will only believe it when i see it for myself or hear it/see it from others then the devs themselves.
